For five years, Stéphanie Solinas investigated on the roads of the American West, cradle of both Silicon Valley and the New Age, to connect places and meet selected individuals who are shaping the "augmented" human of the future, between spirituality, artificial intelligence and the quest for immortality.

Pendant cinq années, Stéphanie Solinas a enquêté sur les routes de l’Ouest américain, berceau commun de la Silicon Valley et du New Age, pour connecter des lieux et rencontrer des individus choisis qui fabriquent l’humain « augmenté » du futur, entre spiritualité, intelligence artificielle et quête d’immortalité.

From a roulette table that once belonged to the Golden Gate casino in Las Vegas, Solinas created the Rio Buenaventura, a game which name refers to a mythical river that the first maps of the American West situated from the Rocky Mountains to the bay of San Francisco. Rio Buenaventura is the game form of the book L'Être plus. Itinéraire pour Devenir soi-même.

À partir d’une table de roulette du casino Golden Gate de Las Vegas, Stéphanie Solinas a élaboré le Rio Buenaventura, un jeu qui emprunte son nom à la rivière mythique que les premières cartes du territoire de l’Ouest américain font courir des Rocheuses à la baie de San Francisco. Rio Buenaventura est la forme jouable du livre L'Être plus. Itinéraire pour Devenir soi-même.

In Horizon, Solinas makes a world of its own out of the chromatic circle - the conventional symbolic representation that gives circumscribed form to the humanly perceptible portion of the electro-magnetic spectrum, when in reality it extends seamlessly from zero to infinity. In a dark environment, the immense portion of the electro-magnetic spectrum blind to the human eye, the ‘Planet of the Visible’ floats in the vastness of our unknowing.

Dans Horizon, Solinas fait un monde en soi du cercle chromatique - cette représentation symbolique conventionnelle qui donne une forme circonscrite à la portion perceptible par l’humain du spectre électro-magnétique, alors qu’il s’étend en réalité sans rupture de zéro à l’infini. Dans un environnement noir, l’immense part du spectre électro-magnétique aveugle à l’oeil humain, la ‘Planète du Visible’ flotte dans la vastitude de notre inconnaissance.
